Monaco, Monaco
Like every other person who has visited the Cote d’Azur in the summertime, I am madly in love with the region. I love the toplessness, the pebble beaches, the calanques near Marseille, the gelato, the ubiquity of Provencal designs, the espadrilles, the colors of the buildings, the museums, and the serious tanning you see going on.

I am happily deciding which cities/villages I want to visit in my short 5-day trip there next month. I don’t really care where I end up just as long as I get to go sunbathing at least 1 day, go to the Friday market in Ventimiglia, Italy, and visit the Picasso museum in Antibes. Other than that, I am letting my couchsurfing take me wherever it takes me.
Sadly, because I’ll be alone, I probably won’t be able to order bouillabaisse, but I am planning on pigging out on: melon w/prosciutto, anything Nicoise, lavender and violet gelato, and the little fried food stands in old town Nice. Heaven!
